Workshops · LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY®

One brick.
A thousand ideas.

LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® is a facilitation method in which each person builds their answer to a difficult question with LEGO® bricks. What was in the heads of a few becomes visible, open to discussion and shared by all.

Jack has worked with the method since 2012 and is one of the 19 trainers worldwide who certify facilitators. He designs every workshop to measure, in English or Spanish.

How it works

Everyone thinks.
Everyone speaks.

In a typical meeting, two or three people do the talking. In a LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® workshop, 100% of the team builds, shares their model and listens to everyone else's.

01 · Question

A real challenge with no obvious answer, designed around what your team needs to solve.

02 · Build

Each person builds their answer with their hands. Ideas appear before words do.

03 · Share

Everyone shares the meaning of what they built. Every voice carries the same weight, not just the boss's.

04 · Reflect

The group reflects on what it saw and heard: what patterns emerge, what they mean and what it will do differently from then on.

For companies

Tailor-made workshops.

From half a day to several days, in person, for leadership teams or working groups. Mainly with LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY®, and when the challenge calls for it, with other strategy and innovation tools. Many of these workshops are part of longer culture change programs.

Strategy

Vision, strategy and priorities

The team builds the strategy instead of receiving it: identity, landscape, challenges and principles everyone can explain and stand behind.

Culture

Culture change

From statements of values to everyday behavior: the team builds the culture it has, the one it wants and what each person will do to close the gap.

Teams

Identity and high performance

The team's roles, relationships and agreements made visible. Ideal for new teams, merged teams or teams that aren't working.

Change

Organizational transformation

A space where change is understood, discussed honestly and designed with the people who will live it.

Innovation

Ideas, products and services

LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® combined with design thinking and service design to go from idea to prototype with the user at the center.

Future

Scenarios and foresight

Futures thinking and scenario planning to prepare for what's coming, not just for what already happened.
